First, let’s get to the facts. TVI Express is a travel-based multi-level marketing company that offers a travel club membership where people can save on almost every aspect of travel. They also offer a free 6 day 7 night vacation package for anyone who joins the club. Before going into more company details, I want to make it clear that I am not a representative. and I am no longer affiliated with them in any way. I was a representative of TVI in 2009 and I offer a unique inside view of how the company works. I have been involved in network marketing full time for over 4 years and have had success with several companies, so I understand what it takes and how a true entrepreneur should approach a network marketing business.
The compensation plan with TVI Express is based on what is called a 2X3 force-filled cyclical matrix. There are so many nuances with that type of compensation plan that I don’t want to go into full detail right now, but the basics are this: someone joins for $250. They complete 2 matrices and win $10,000. All you need to do to qualify is recruit 2 people, and you have the ability to do it over and over again. On the surface it looks pretty easy, and to a newbie, it looks easy. I have no problem with this type of compensation plan, but the way TVI representatives sometimes describe it is not entirely accurate. They will tell you flat out that you only need to do your 2 reps and you are all set. In reality, this type of comp plan can be EXTREMELY lucrative for people who can recruit a HUGE number of reps, but will need more than 2 personal recruits.
TVI Express has had legal problems in both China and Australia. Several high-level representatives in China have been arrested on fraud charges, and the company is no longer allowed to do business in Australia. As a US citizen, that won’t pose any problem for recruiting people from a legal standpoint, BUT it will make people take notice. The Internet has made information readily available and potential recruits and clients can easily find information about Australian and Chinese legal issues that might discourage them from doing business with you as a TVI representative.
The key to building a business and substantial income with TVI Express is to approach it as an entrepreneur, not just a sales representative. I cannot stress this enough. MLM companies come and go, but your business, YOU Inc., doesn’t change. No matter which network marketing or MLM company you decide to join, to be successful with it, you must build your value as a leader within the company and the industry as a whole by learning advertising and marketing skills that you can pass on to your team. That is the number one skill any network marketing distributor MUST learn in order to consistently enroll new distributors and build a great organization with TVI Express or any other company.
