Let’s be honest. Times are tough these days. Families are cutting their budgets. Companies are tightening their belts and many people would like to have extra money in their pockets.
Here are some things you can do to earn some extra money.
Sell things you don’t need or want;
Have a garage sale. My neighbor is having a garage sale right now and there are a lot of antiques lying around. I saw some plastic cups of Kool-Aid and out of curiosity I went to eBay to see what they were selling for. To my surprise, they are selling for $8.99 plus $4.95 shipping. I can buy them for 50 cents. As you can see, there is a lot of money to be made. Today, some cities have laws about posting signs on street corners. At least that’s the way things are where I live. If so, simply park your car on the street and place the arrow signs on the front and rear windshields. It worked well for me when I had a garage sale.
If you know how to sell on eBay, sell your stuff there. I know someone who made $10,000 last year selling things on the side. He and his wife would go to garage sales and get good deals on items and then sell them for a profit. Like the Kool-Aid cups I found.
Now is the time to get rid of that extra clutter that is taking up space and cluttering your home.
How about putting your clothes on consignment? I’ve bought a lot of nice clothes at thrift stores. The clothes are of good quality and I always get compliments when I wear them. If you don’t want it, someone else will surely appreciate it… like me.
Recycle; All those cans and bottles can earn you some extra cash, and if you live in a state where you can get your money back for every can and bottle, then you’ll have some nice pocket money.

start a home business; from Mary Kay, Avon, Scentsy, Pampered Chef. They can be very funny. You can make some friends and money at the same time.
Take online surveys. I was talking to someone the other day and he told me he won $200 from an online survey. However, he said it took him 2 hours to complete the survey. At $100 an hour, that’s not bad. He also told me that you have to look for the right polls. Many of them can waste your time and pay you pennies. He didn’t give me the website. He was working. I’ll have to ask him another time. A quick $200 is good pocket change.
Now if you really want to earn some extra money at home and learn a skill that you can use for the rest of your life. I highly recommend starting an internet business. The overhead costs are minimal and you have the potential to earn a lot of money from home. I would also recommend that you invest in yourself and find the best internet marketing training you can find. You are your greatest asset.
Remember, your income follows your personal growth. If you’re not growing and investing in yourself, neither will your income.
