I just finished watching The Karate Kid (2010) and just like the previous Karate Kid movies that I have seen, from The Karate Kid 1 to The Next Karate Kid, I felt really light, happy and full of hope. Yes! Those are the effects these movies have had on me. Some people may find it funny, even strange, that I feel like this, but I really can’t deny that fact! And with good reason, rather reasons, which I will list in a moment.

Yes, the story is predictable. Because after all that has been said and done, only 2 things can happen. You “win” and actually get what you want (and of course you deserve it, as you fought for it!) OR you “lose” and consider it a “lesson learned” so you don’t make the same mistake and / or know what do the same thing next time (and finally win!). Other lessons I learned from the movie: There is a time to act and a time to get away.
